Phuket: is 480 miles (800 km) south of
Bangkok & 600 miles (960 km) north of Singapore. Both
cities are connected to Phuket Airport by 20 direct daily
flights of only 1½ hours.
Langkawi is situated in the north west of Malaysia
and right on the border of Thailand. This beautiful island
is easily accessed by daily direct flights from Kuala Lumur,
Singapore, or Penang. Daily flights are also available from
Bangkok via Kuala Lumpur or Penang.
Entry Visas are not required by tourists from most
countries, for a stay of up to 30 days in Thailand or 90
days in Malaysia. Upon your date of entry, passports should
have a minimum of 6 months remaining, before the date of
expiry.
Weather:
The North-East wind season, from November to April, is fine
and clear.
The South-West season, May to October, has occasional rain
between long sunny periods. There are no tropical storms,
cyclones, hurricanes at any time of year!
Temperatures: Highs average 30°C (85F). Lows
average 24°C (75F)
Safety: The Phuket area is known as an extremely
safe charter destination on both land and water. Being part
of the Andaman Sea, which is regularly patrolled by the
Thai Navy, Coast Guard and Water Police, it should not be
confused with an occasional trouble spot in the South China
Sea, over 2,000 miles away, between Borneo and the
Philippines.
Phuket to Langkawi. There are 100's of islands, bays/lagoons
with crystal clear water, full of tropical fish and beautiful
coral, plus many deserted beaches with clean white sand.
The cruising area of 12,000 square miles has many secluded
anchorages to choose from.

Phang-Nga is famous for its amazing islands soaring
straight out of the water. Particularly James Bond Isle.
which was the location for the filming of a Bond movie, "Man with a Golden Gun" Also the caves & hongs inside
the islands, make this a magical place.
The Krabi area (below), including
Ao Nang, Phra Nang and Railay Beach is absolutely stunning
and beautiful, with lush green jungle sweeping down to dazzling
white beaches and incredible karst limestone cliffs, with
many caves to explore very easily and safely.
Koh Phi Phi (below) is truly an amazing island,
with dramatic cliffs that tower above the bay and provide
a spectacular setting for the interesting local shops, restaurants/bars.
Entertainment and dancing are also available for a great
fun night on shore for all ages.

The days below are samples and can be changed to any number
you want. The hours are also average times, depending if
you are sailing or motoring. The yachts are anchored in
calm bays every night. "Koh" is Island in Thai.
Bareboat Charters ex Phuket are not allowed to leave
Thai waters. The schedule 10-14 days with checking in to
Langkawi would be for Crewed Yachts only.

Day 1: 4 hr sail to Phang-Nga Bay. Great scenery.
Have swim. See James Bond Is.
Day 2: Go to lime-stone caves & lagoons inside the
islands. 4 hr sail to Krabi Beach.
Day
3: Snorkel, sunbathe. 4 hr sail to Koh Phi Phi. See
colorful coral and local village.
Day 4: Visit Phi Phi View-Point & beaches. 5 hr sail
to Koh Racha. See dolphins play.
Day 5: Explore tropic islands & lagoons. Visit a
Pearl Farm on Koh Rang Yai.
Day 6: A 3 hr sail back to Phuket Island. Disembark
around 1200 midday.

Relax & BBQ on beach.
Day 5: Swim, sunbathe. A 7 hr sail to Koh Racha.
Catch big fish on the way.

6: 3 hr sail to famous Patong Beach, Beautiful beaches,
bargain shopping.
Day 7: Swim, sight-see. 5 hr sail around south coast
to Pearl Farm at Rang Yai.
Day 8: 3 hr sail back to Phuket Island. Disembark
around 1200 midday

Day 5: Stay Koh Rok Nok overnight. Explore this deserted
tropical island.
Day 6: 6 hour sail to Butang Island Group. Visit
a sea gypsy fishing village.
Day
7: 4 hr sail to remote Koh Tarutao. See spectacular
waterfalls and jungle.
Day 8: (ONLY for Crewed Charters, booked in advance
to finish in Langkawi) 4 hr sail to Langkawi, Malaysia.
A different culture, special scenery.
Day 9: Sail through 99 tropic islands. See dolphins
and sea eagles feeding.
Day 10: 3 hr sail to Kuah Harbor. Visit free, cultural
theme park on waterfront.
Day
11: Duty free shopping, disembark 1200. OR...
Day 11: (For return to Phuket). Duty free shopping,
sail to Phuket in 4 days, with time for snorkeling fishing
and exploring, plus stopovers at Adang Is., Muk Is., Chicken
Is.
Day 15: Sail back to Phuket Island. Disembark around
1200 midday.
